What you’ll do
As a member of our team, you will:
- Develop and execute manual test cases and scripts.
- Participate in agile estimation, factoring in product and process requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Record test results, log defects, and track issues to closure.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, project stakeholders, and clients to plan test schedules, execute test plans/cases, and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Review functional and technical documentation to identify requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Coordinate testing efforts across teams, provide status updates, and recommend improvements to product reliability, performance, and QA best practices.
- Perform manual, regression, and basic performance testing to validate functionality, usability, and stability.
- This role requires primary working hours to be from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. IST
What you need
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Proven expertise in manual testing techniques, including exploratory, functional, and user-acceptance testing.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining regression test suites.
- Passionate about understanding the application end to end and translating the understanding to process flows or documents
- Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a distributed (remote/hybrid) team environment.
Good to have:
- Knowledge about Databases like SQL.
- Knowledge on API Testing, like Postman, Karate
- Knowledge of Performance Testing.
